We are Soroptimist International of Novato, CA. We are part of a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, specifically those facing significant obstacles.

Our goal at the Novato Chapter is to illuminate discourse with a series of conversations highlighting relevant topics in our neighborhood. These conversations are broadcast on local TV and on Youtube.

Fall of Saigon, Operation Baby Lift

A short video of the heroic efforts by pilots and stewardesses of PANAM Airways to rescue children as the US exits the Vietnam War and an operation know as "Baby Lift". There was a humanitarian effort to airlift Vietnamese children as the US was exiting the Vietnam war. The planes were taking off with active shelling and bombing around them. This video is a tribute to the efforts by the valiant employees of the now defunct PANAM Airways.
