Homeward Bound: Housing For Families Transitioning from Homelessness

Corry Kanzenberg talks about the project to move families from homelessness to modern housing in 1 and 2 bedroom units at Hamilton in Novato. The project, Oma Village, is just one year old and at full capacity with families living in 14 units. Homeward Bound ensures support for the families as they build their financial stability and become part of the community. Librarians come in, ensure that everyone has a library card, among the integration of other community services. Families can stay in the home until a child reaches the age of 18.
